Tottenham-fans twitteren massaal hetzelfde over Steven Bergwijn

Tottenham Hotspur lijkt vanavond nog de komst van Steven Bergwijn af te kunnen gaan ronden. De fans van de Londenaren zijn unaniem: dit kan wel eens een topdeal voor hun club gaan betekenen. Op Twitter overheerst enthousiasme over de komst van de PSV-sterspeler. De transfersom (ruim 30 miljoen euro) noemen de meesten bovendien een ‘steal’ (een koopje).

Bergwijn is the real deal.
He can cross and he is very good on the ball. He likes to cut inside and will fit very nicely with Lo Celso, Alli and Son (and later Kane) who like to go wide.

Initially thought Bergwijn was a stupid target, but the more I think about it, the more It makes sense. One of the frustrating things watching #THFC at the moment is the lack of pace. Lots of nice neat footballers, but we only have Son and Lucas who run with the ball. #COYS

Would honestly say an 7.5/8 if we’re being honest. Backup striker is key and Bergwijn seems like a steal for that price, Gedson + Lo Celso good young players and can become vital parts of our rebuild.
