Erik ten Hag was afgelopen zomer voornemens om Jurriën Timber naar Manchester United te halen, maar koos uiteindelijk voor diens Ajax-collega Lisandro Martínez. De Argentijn heeft in een half jaar tijd veel indruk gemaakt en dat willen de fans weten ook. Zij laten een duidelijk Timber-geluid horen…

Can we all spare a thought for Jurriën Timber? The man who naively thought he was being smart by turning us down just to please Van Gaal. If it wasn’t for him making such a foolish decision, we wouldn’t have the best centre back in world football right now.
